Arayik Khandoyan and Ashot Petrosyan declared hunger strike
"My clients today have declared hunger strike for an indefinite period of time. Joining the initiative of Garegin Chugaszyan, President of the Founding Parliament. they too demand the immediate release of all political prisoners in prisons of Armenia. At this point, my clients have not been transferred to the cell for the hunger strikers; they are still in their cells," Arayik Papikyan, the lawyer for Khandoyan and Petrosyan told Forrights.am.

It should be reminded that Garegin Chugaszyan is on hunger strike for already 15 days. His demand is the immediate release of all political prisoners of Armenia.

"In addition to the aforementioned, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Armenia, I demand a brodest amnesty on May 28, to help to overcome social dissatisfaction caused by the brutal justice system and to create grounds for the restoration of the faith in the justice system, as well as to create a transitional justice commission, to deal with the crimes committed by the regime, searching for legal-political solutions for investigations related to the citizens killed during the battle with the regime,” said Chugaszyan in his statement
